This past weekend, the vision of 48 in 48 became a reality.
An army of volunteers skilled in development, design, and communication converged at General Assembly in Ponce City Market and built beautiful sites for 48 Atlanta nonprofits. With many working around the clock, it was a massive undertaking that never could have happened without the great people of Atlanta who consistently rise to the challenge of serving others and building community.
We consider it an honor to have been part of this event and to be trusted to execute such a massive undertaking on our platform (almost all of the sites were built on the Evermore platform).
Empowering Nonprofits to Tell Their Story
It’s often the nonprofit’s story that prompts the donations and the volunteer contributions needed to serve effectively. A great website is one of the best communication tools to tell that story over time, so we identified with the vision of 48 in 48 as soon as we heard it earlier this year. It’s often an overwhelming task for an organization to get the right people and tools in place at the right time. Instead, nonprofits got an unprecedented kickstart that will continue to serve them well.
At the end of the event, a panel of judges from the community chose three sites they felt most quickly and effectively the website communicated the nonprofit’s story.
Six Months of Evermore
We’re honored to be able to give these nonprofits six months of the Evermore experience at no cost to them. From hosting to maintenance to education and support, they’ll have everything they need to ensure their story is told and their organization thrives.
Good Times!
We had an absolute blast serving with some of the best and brightest in Atlanta. Take a look at some of the highlights of the event in the gallery below:
Thanks again to all who volunteered, sponsored, and supported 48 in 48. We hope to continue to help nonprofits in Atlanta share their story through this event and more.
As always, let us know if you have any questions.
